Kindle is a free reading app by Amazon that lets you read e-books on your phone, tablet, or computer — no Kindle device needed. Make sure you've downloaded the app before following the next steps.
First things first:

For iPhone users (iOS)
Using AirDrop
Open the EPUB file directly on your phone.
Tap share > AirDrop.
On your iPhone, select the Kindle app.
Open the Kindle app and wait a few minutes.
Refresh your library — sometimes the cover takes a moment to appear.
That’s it! You can now read the book from any device using the Kindle app.
Want to download it on your desktop? Just email or AirDrop the file to your phone and follow the same steps.
For Android users
Download the EPUB file directly on your phone.
Open your Files app.
Tap the EPUB file > select Open with Kindle.
